Re: Idle fault [solved]

Finally got around to taking my car to Hamish to sort out the three check engine codes and idle fault.

Idle fault is as described in original posting.
CEL codes are :
11 crank angle sensor
12 starter switch
37 oxygen sensor

After three days of investigation he finally solved all problems in one step by disconnecting a relay fitted by an auto electrical at the same time as rebuilding the starter motor.

Only been driven 30km so far.
I'll get a 250km trip in on Tuesday.

One of the CELs would pop up after travelling about 70km, so Tuesday will be the real test.

During the diagnostics Hamish also cleaned the two crank sensors and removed an old alarm / immobiliser. These might have been contributing as well.

Once I've proven everything is fault free, I'll take it to Bryan to get the remote starter & new alarm installed.
