Pump running dry. Manual specifically mentions persistent noise/bubbles until all air is bled, but does not have BIG CAUTIONS or the like around it. Now, if you ran it for miles making the "run-dry grinding" I would be saying otherwise. Good tip on the O-ring by gstape above BTW.
Any luck finding the correct torque wrench? Some auto-parts stores have tools for loan (Auto-Zone for certain) requiring a refundable deposit, but not requiring expense of purchase.
