If the mic could pick up some damn sound I wouldn't feel ripped off. I got it for $120 plus some shipping.
I'm not quite dumb enough to pay 200 for something like this.

You are probably right. Both of my mom's still only cameras have awesome pic quality. What a huge hassle though to lug around PAS and a camcorder.
