the door panel comes off by removing the two screws along the front edge, two (or sometimes three) screws under the felt at the door pull/armrest, and after popping off the little plastic part under the door handle the last screw is hiding. Then pull at the bottom until is pops lose then lift up and away. There are a couple of wiring connectors for windows and the light, etc. so be careful you don't pull the panel off too far before disconnecting.
