I think I heard of some car burning to the ground at an autocross... I can't remember what it was, but I think it might have been a Corvette.
There's that lovely video going round the internet of some guys Veedub burning to the ground while he watched. Best quote: "At least now I can say I've got the hottest Veedub on the planet!"
Or something like that.
