I believe the officers had a right to loot for food,water,medicine etc. Its a matter of survival and you have to take into consideration that the officers had probaly lost everything also. Looting for survival is ok in my opinion as the government on all levels has failed local state and federal. Looting for TVs DVDs and the such you should get a bullet in your a$$ and left as you are compounding the problem for law enforcement and rescuers. Its apparent our government is ill prepared for a major disaster. What the hell every happened to Civil Defense?? The general population actually having drills for attacks and storms is unthinkable today as we have handed that responsibility to our government and they failed.
The world is watching as the most powerful nation in the world is ailing to cope with this. Everyone should be prepared to defend and survive for something like this or other disaster.
