I put it in my tranny when I changed the filter and fluid. I have noticed a difference in the way it shifts but it is hard to say, it could just be the fresh clean fluid and new filter. It seems like it grabs alot harder in power mode now. I do not have a tranny temp guage so I can't say if it helps keep temps down---but I can say that I put it in my tranny about 2 mos ago and it has not exploded........yet
