yesterday i drove down the pass again, dropping a few thousand feet, drove back up later in the day and put gas in. no problems like that again. i dont think its my fuel pressure regulator since my car is running fine, i would think if its the fuel pressure it wouldnt be running right. no codes either except for my usual one from my speedo. im thinking it might have been caused my the excessive heat that day. a mixture of driving down 2k feet, driving up 2k feet, and also the fact that the temp difference was nearly 20 to 30 degrees, from being in the mid 60's to 70's here, then being in the 90's down there. i will keep an eye on it and see if it does it again, but it hasnt since then.

ill just monitor it and see if i see any other things like that.

i will check the hoses like mike suggested, as i have had problems with my hoses in the past, maybe my repair job wasnt thorough.
