It has been my observation... here, there, everywhere... that folks tend to drive
at the very limits of control in any sort of inclement weather. A guy was killed here a few weeks ago after his small pickup hydroplaned and crossed a grassy median into incoming traffic, and it's little surprise because people bleepin' fly on that stretch of road. The driver of that car that went over that embankment simply let his guard down, entered an icy curve too fast, and off they went. Had I not been following him, if might well have been me.
