I've recently experienced the same symptoms with my '97. Forgive me if you've already mentioned this, but does the car readily re-fire after stalling? Mine popped a CEL the same trip/day for Duty Sol A, but I believe that was incidental and unrelated to the stalling problem. I swapped a known good (re-soldered) MAF yesterday, and first test run was uneventful. I plan to get her out a couple of times today and give it another chance.
