Exactly. (But without an overhaul, how many really do?) Point is, for a typical driver, keeping the crankcase filled with clean oil, changing the oil filter regularly, and driving like you really
want the engine to last have more bearing on longevity than the brand or type of oil one chooses to use. Hammer the motor with regularity and something's gonna break sooner than later, regardless.
