My speakers are almost 28 years old. The receiver is 10. I do have a new CD changer, having worn-out two units over 20-some years. And I just bought a new 20-inch, non-digital, non-flat screen TV, basically the cheapest thing I found with a built-in DVD player. Hey, I even hooked-up my 9-year old Wal-Mart VCR to play audio through the stereo. Rock on.
