I ran mine through the passenger's side. There is a huge grommet on the passenger's side firewall (shared by the air conditioning lines, I think.) Get an pointy stick, tape some rope to it, soap it up (to make it slippery,) and stick it through the grommet. It'll come out just behind the heater box. Tie or tape the rope to your wires and give a good tug.

Also, I recommend running the wires down the side of the car, not the center. Either will work, but the side seems to work best.
