I shoved it back in my spare tranny and took a photo so you can see where it normally resides. I just grabbed on it and yanked and it slid right out. Hardest part of the whole job was being patient enough to scrape off all of the gasket material for the extension housing. Took me about an hour and a half just on the gasket.
