Sorry all to bump this old thread - but I did so in particular to see if anyone found a fix to "STORMINORMAN" message below. He illustrated a problem that I just experienced with my new (for me) 92 SVX I purchased yesterday. Is there indeed a way to leave the seatbelt in the "locked" position and then use the manual release button to secure the belt? Does this solve the clicking problem? If, worst case scenario, I take the car to the dealer, will they be able to diagose and fix the problem for under $300. Thanks in advance for your help and guidance.
