Ok, so here’s where I’m at now.
I took it to two body shops, one quoted me close to $6000 and the other was $4200, both of which would total it.
The insurance company is offering me $4100 (I’m working on getting a little more), and I can buy it back for $800 (without a salvage title). I could probably get it fixed for about $3000 if I acquire some parts myself. At first I was dead set on fixing it, but the more I thought about it, I realized I’ll never be able to get $4100 for it. I wouldn’t have even gotten that before the accident…
I’d buy it back and part it out, but I have no place to store it. If anyone else wants it (for the hood or seats or something), I’d consider buying it back and reselling it. It’s drivable.
So it looks like I’m in the market for another SVX.
Problem now is, I need SOMETHING before June. Anyone with an SVX for sale in the Midwest, let me know. Thanks!
