I had the Conti Extremes and I think they are great no actually the best in the SNOW. I wore them out after about 60k miles or so. I had some alignment and pothole issues.
Now I have the FALKEN tires and they are great but not as good as Cx in the snow. The Cx take on a cold set when sitting overnight and the Falken is much better in this regard. Cold set is no big deal really it will go away in few miles.
I only paid about $68 each for the Cx and would have bought them again but the price went way up. They are a great all session tire, great in the rain, easy to drive 45mph in 6" of snow
not the best for track racing but good enough for everyday. The Falkens are supposed to be better dry but how would most of us know? If we don't push them when it's dry.......
Take care,
John
