I bought one today at the local Advance Auto.
On the box it states that it traps 96% of the dirt and grime in oil with multi-pass efficiency. I wonder what the micron rating of it is?
The purolator looks well built. I've used fram filters until I read about the poor quality and because I liked the black grip stuff on the end. It made it easier to get them off. Now that I think about it, the black stuff probably retarded heat dissipation as well.
