Forget about getting a lawyer.You gonna lose another 400-500$.
Go to court alone ,wear a jacket and a tie. Apologize,don't deny speeding,apologize again.
Don't try to tell to long story why you where speeding,but tell where you was going.
Apologize again and ask for lower fine,offer to do some community work.
That should help a little.
