Help! Charging problems
My beast died on me today. Wouldn't even light up dash or turn over until jumped. Noticed the headlights wavering in intensity at idle. First thought "batterys gone". Then saw lights and am wondering if it is voltage regulator or alternator. The 60,000 mile service was performed by an idiot (didn't replace wheels that tension belts) and I'm ready to do the 90,000 even though I just turned 80,000. My SVX is a "92...advice would be appreciated.
