I checked the dipstick today and it hadn't popped up after about 6 days of driving. Makes me really think it is an o-ring issue as I would expect a bad PCV to have popped it back out by now. Also, my engine oil levels are really good and there are no signs of leaks anywhere. And the oil looks great too. Still looks very clean after nearly 3K miles. I was happy to see that. Now if I could only solve the cold start bouncy idle and front end rattles.
