Every CV I've ever purchased had a new axle nut already on it.

I've had poor luck with the advance auto axle fit. Seems they are just a bit too short and the inner CV is a the end of it's travel. Yields some clicking in full power on tight turns. Haven't blown one up yet though....and they are very inexpensive.
