What does torque control do? i havnt jumped it yet to disable it but i've been driving around with it still on.
The Torque Control is a signal sent from the TCU to the ECU to turn off every second injector pulse, when the auto is changing gears. If you remove the TCU, just leave the Torque control wire to the ECU open as it is held at 5V by the ECU.
If you leave the TCU in the car, cut the torque control wire to the ECU. It is a green/blue wire at pin No. 16 plug B68.
