My apologies. My explanation was slightly incorrect.


There are attachment nuts for the motor on both tracks.

The procedure for removing the DS seat in a LHD car would be as follows:

1) Remove plastic covers
2) Remove BOTH front seat bolts.
3)Reach in with a 14mm ratcheting wrench and undo the rear bolt on the left side.
4) Tilt seat back to expose said bolts. You can see where the motor bolts to the track in the photo of the right side rail, taken from the front of the seat looking underneath. The silver nut is the attachment for the motor.
