Don't put it on blocks. If you don't have an extra set of crappy wheels/tires then you should at least put some extra air pressure in the wheels. Put more in than you usually do. This will help keep those flat spots away. Put in some stabilizer, and leave it there. Starting it up every once in a while will make things worse unless you really get it warm and give it a workout.
