Engine knock
I have a 1994 svx with a knock in the engine at around 1800-2000 rpm. I discovered after I removed the rattling exhaust heat shield. My manual tells me it is most likely a rod or crank knock. The engine drives fine, so I was planning on just driving until it gets worse, then buy a good used engine. Anyone out there had this knock and found it to be something else?? Also, where is a trustworthy place to get a good used engine with low miles?? Thanks.
