don't scrap the car.. go with a 4.44 swap... if you don't have the bucks to put the MT in..
As SVXfiles(Tom) and I found out the 4.11 isn't the greatest match..(although mine has been great as long as I keep the resistor out)
It's pretty simple to find a used or rebuilt 4.44 or 4.11 to put in and much cheaper than the 5/6 MT rebuild
