Sorry to hear about it. I believe the establishment who cashed the check has to mail the check to the bank from which the funds originated. Most places require the person cashing the check to provide some sort of identification or even a fingerprint. I also believe the people who cashed the check will be responsible for not getting proper I.D. Good luck I hope you get your dough.
