Check that the fitting installed on the lines match up exactly with the stock SVX mounting points (I'm talking about the attachment points on the strut housings, not at the caliber and hardline). I know the SS line kits from RaceConcepts do (at least the ones I bought for the front and back brakes did). As far as fluid goes, I think many of us are using the Valvoline Synth fluid with no issues.
Make sure to thoroughly bleed your entire system when you change out the lines.
