I just spoke with Sydney Simpson, who is our new sales liasion for the Reading meet in April. She and I, and her food services manager, are working on the Saturday lunch plans similar to what was offered last year.

UPDATE: The hotel has agreed to open their dining room for lunch on Saturday, April 21. The menu will be forthcoming soon, but should be similar to last year. If there is anything else we want, let them know. For those who forgot what was on last year's lunch menu, see post #10

Anyway, I just happened to ask her how many of the block of 40 rooms were still available. She had mine reserved, which left 39 rooms.

According to this thread, there are at least 23 members who say they will be there. However, besides me, there is only one other person who has actually reserved a room. Anyone want to guess who that is? I have the name. I thought there would have been at least 20 rooms reserved by now.

So as of now there are 38 rooms still available. Why am I surprised? This is the nature of the beast

We know that Reading is every April.

This is not like Armegeddon or anything, where we know it is coming... just don't know when. Just over

112 days til Reading 8
