I did the 4.44 auto swap in June 2006 and am pleased(or should I say my wife is pleased
) with the results. I waited almost 3 years to do to the swap(new house job etc) but only paid $550 for the trans and rear diff and done all the work myself in natures garage . You can find people to do the swap and its not really that hard to do yourself just take your time. Good luck with it.
