The car seems fine, but the part of his email concerning the check engine light makes me a little nervous. It suggests to me that the guy isn't that concerned with maintaining the car properly. The condition of the seats and the headlights suggests the same thing to me.
Still, the car may prove to be solid and a good deal. I just thought I'd relay my concern.
