Hey guys
the past few days I noticed the car starting to have a really loud clicking sound coming from underneath the car. With closer inspection the noise sounds like its coming from behind the engine.
It does it at idle speeds and seems to go away at certain rpms, but the volume or the speed of the clicking does not change.
I did a search and found that it could be injectors or flexplate. If it is the flexplate cracking will the car just suddenly die on the road?
Should I look into a brand new one or source another used one? I'm really worried because finals are coming up and I have to drive back and forth to school constantly and I'd rather not have to get another car
