Beav, you're right.
But since I cleaned out the passages, and tested the EGR, and the Solenoid on the bench, the only thing left was the Vacuum control. And since I didn't know how that works, I just preyed it would pass with all the new hoses, and I pulled the PCV hoses off the airbox just to help a little, and plugged the holes.
Anyway, I took it thru, and I just barely passed.
My last NOx reading was 1.9,
a pass is 1.2,
and I scraped by with a 1.1.
I put the hoses back on the air box after I passed.
So now I have another 2 years to figure out whats wrong, or replace my engine.
I'm wondering if I could also have a bad Cat or 2? Thats a different thread. Thanks for all the heps gents.
