This is a circuit breaker that resets itself when it cools off. It could be your problem. IIRC, it's 20 amp (but maybe not) and is designed to prevent overloading by using too many of the devises at the same time. Should be safe to bridge it for a test, just don't do more than 1 motor at the same time. One of mine had corroded and I replaced it with a generic from Advance Auto. Let me know if you need to know the amps and I'll look it up.
