I did actually, thanks for inquiring! According to the mechanic, my speed sensor and internal ATF sensor (?) were dead. He said the speed sensor was obviously affecting my speedometer, and that that the ATF sensor was messed up and affecting the shift points. With all the associated parts (including transmission filter, pan gasket, etc), diagnostic, and labor, I dropped somewhere close to $700... But at least my car is running fairly decently again!

On top of it all, the mechanic also noticed I had to replace my ball joints. So that was another $130.. With all said and done, I've still gotta save up for that 90k mi service. Apparently I have to fix some leaks as well. And I should probably get new brake pads and resurface my rotors. I love my car, but it sure is expensive to maintain!
