I put Michelin Pilot Sports on my SVX back in August of '99. I paid about $750 (including mounting, balance, etc.) but that was five years ago and I'm sure the price has dropped since then. I've put about 50K on them and still have acceptable tread. The tires are OK. Decent ride characteristics, quiet and good grip. I've never had a problem in snow. They are extremely sensitive to air pressure. Keep them up to spec and they're very good. Let the pressure drop into the 20's and they become mushy.

As you can tell, I'm not in love with them, but they are good tires and have lasted longer than I ever expected, which mitigates the price.
