Registered SVX
Svx Models, How Many Produced?

When discussing threads like, Who has the Lowest, Who has the Highest, or when discussing COLLECTOR STATUS, VALUE, etc., etc., SVX are typically classified to production date, to model year, version, or to registration date. When considering world-wide production, each of these methods ultimately fails to accurately describe the vehicle.

For example, when Imprezas are discussed, a WRX is not a STI, a STI not a WRX, even though both are Impreza, perhaps of the same year and color. The value and desirability are different. The MODELS are significantly different, apples and oranges. The value is different, etc.
Same with the SVX .

To appropriately list, value, and catagorize SVX, the APPLIED MODEL NUMBER is the appropriate description of the vehicle .
The option code should also be listed and factored .
Joe has a master list of paint codes, (and trim codes?)

We should now become more familiar with the various PRODUCTION MODELS and OPTION CODES worldwide. We should list, evalute, value, catagorize the SVX accordingly.

Let's begin HERE to properly catagorize our years/models/codes, filling in the blanks for PRODUCTION MODELS and OPTION CODES around the globe. For option codes, let's list only options, options are specs ABOVE AND BEYOND the base equipment. Base equipment can be described under APPLIED MODEL.

US-APPLIED MODELS could also associate 'production year', 92, 93, 94, 95etc. if APPLIED MODEL is the same for more than one production/certification year.

JDM-production should associate MODEL/SPEC, not year, (Version E, Version L, S40, S40II, S3, S4). The last Version L was sold in 1996, even though all production was between Sept 91 and Sept 92. This same fact applies to Euro cars, many sold much later than production/certification.

The information collected here may be reformatted here to make inputting data easier, and put to a spread sheet as data comes available.

So, let's begin with these SIX APPLIED MODELS:
