So I finally got to Tom's house to get my 1 month old 4.44 installed. Dropped the pan only to find metal shavings from some remnants of a bearing inside the tranny...
So now I got to go to the place to get another trans... but this time I'm going to drop the pan at my house to avoid any of the same mishap

Tom did do a good job with his work. Luckily we were able to install one of my bearings and both my rear springs/struts...
The original rears were so bad that when I installed mychailo's new lowering springs with new struts I actually gained about an inch in the rear...
I also got to drive tom's 6 speed
That made the day so much better. That beast is so effortless to drive it was love at first shift
P.S. Modding the intake resonator has proven to have no issues with water. I basically have a similar setup as chike where I have run a new pipe high up in the fenderwell. Tom's town was flooded and i drove through some massive puddles very slowly without any problems
Ahh well.. its late, time for bed... end of rant but at least I went home satisfied
