That is quite a reasonable price for the hood, and for the shipping.
I should know, as I work for a hood company
We make truck/SUV hoods mostly, though..
Oh and yeah, Freightquote.com is as good as a little guy is going to get for shipping rates. I use them to ship my bumpers.
PS make sure you pack those hoods really really well, or the freight guys will destroy them on a regular basis.
Be sure they can survive a 4 foot drop
because that's the treatment they're going to get :O
