I don't know about finding one in a junk yard. Not many ever seem to have an SVX at least around here, but you might be able to find a good sensor off another member on here. If you do buy a used one I would just try and make sure it is off a low miles car. If I remember right there is a resistance check you can do to make sure the knock sensor is good. I just don't remember the specs. I replace both of mine awhile ago and the only thing I removed was my alternator and the H-6 engine cover so you don't actually have to remove the intake manifold. You just need a few extensions and a wobbly socket. I actually just bought those gaskets about a month ago from my local dealer. He had them in stock and I think I paid like 7.50-8.50 a piece.
