Just a theory here; most of the struts that were purchased in the past few years failed shortly after they were installed. They were sitting around on shelves for 10+ years and the seals dryed out. I'm wondering if the new part number is for newly manufactured struts??

Fellas, per my original inquiry, should I also replace the top spacer on the front and both spacers on the rear?
