The tranny was doing nothing out of the ordinary. It's just that I was told that all the gaskets needed to be replaced and, of course, the life of the tranny depended on that. You know who he is; we've talked before. Beside, others may not have had the same experience. I'd hate to tell someone who had faith in his/her MD that the Quack was a quack.
