No there isn't. Well with the exception of the manufacturing date which may be shown on the seatbelts. Also there is another plate on the driver's door shut, which shows things like allowable maximum weights and stuff for the intended market.

We are in the process of decoding what the option codes and trim codes and so on mean. To that end people are giving us information in the registration forum. Earl [ensteele] is compiling a chart for this information. When we have enough different types in the database we will be able to draw conclusions on what the Subaru plate codes may mean.

If you browse around the How To section, you will find charts there listing the paint codes for various years and markets. Your 215 indicates the three-tone silver which was Japanese market only.

Copy and paste the template on post #28 into a new reply. Then change the details in red to suit the details of your car.

What's of interest is matching up what options your car has, such as airbags and cruise etc with the listed code, in your case DVC. This way we will decipher what the option codes refer to for each market.
