I had the same thing on mine. The result of the wrong wattage bulb. If you can't find an unmolested one I suggest you fabricate a holder with some epoxy. This is easier if you remove the whole lense assembly (1/4" drive socket 8mm) two bolts in the front are a little tricky to get at but if your patient you can remove with your fingers. Don't drop them into the Fender Abyss!
