You appear to have found a practical use for this feature and something I have had in mind but not got around to testing. This would stop the tranny constantly hunting for a gear in traffic and must have a practical advantage. You have given me the incentive to give it a proper trial - thanks.
Starting in second in very slippery conditions does make it easier to control wheel spin and one would do this with a manual ( that word again ) gearbox. Have I hit on the answer to the label !? Don't think so.
I don't dig the Mopar dig.
