New Bicycle

A little background...Trek has a lifetime warranty on their bikes as long as you have the receipt of purchase, and I have an old 2100 at home with some corrosion on the rear brake stay. I'll be heading off to college next year and I plan on using a bike as my means of transportation. So I took my 2100 into the Trek store to see if they would replace the frame for me and it turns out they don't cover corrosion ..so instead of giving me a new bike, they offered me the "customer loyalty program" where you basically choose any bike and get it at a discounted price; something like half price. So with some of my graduation money I purchased the Trek Valencia. Great for commuting, made of aluminum, and comes with disc brakes!

This will let me give the SVX a bit of a break these next few years while I'm a poor college student...

On a side note, does anyone know of a good bike rack for our cars? The Trek store wasn't able to come up with anything that worked for the SVX...we had to remove both wheels to get it to fit into the car
