Aside from swapping it, any way to do a quick test (aside from pulling the codes) without pulling it out? Should I try and put in the FWD fuse, and if so to what end?
Thanks for the input, I didn't realize that there is no electrical connection to the gear box!

Reading more into it, it's likely that the TCU I got is running different firmware,
per alcyone.org
