I find it shocking that there isn't a starter alternator repair shop around you. Most are in high demand (not for cars but rather industrial and farm equipment stuff). If you wanna send it to me I'll have it rebuilt but would suspect if you look in the phone book under starters or automobile starters you'll find a shop. AC compressors are another story. I keep meaning to take one of mine apart to see if I can get the bearings for it.
