Ron, my money is on the fact that the Panasonic recorder is designed to not duplicate copyrighted cd's. No swapping cd-r brands will help you. You can get a burner for your PC now for under $30. It's a 10 minute install and will work on anything you throw at it without special disks for music. Whether your older SVX changer will be able to read them is a matter of conjecture since few older cd players will read CD-R's. I am praying that the Pioneer changer in my SVX will but I won't know until I get a remote to operate it. Bite the bullet and buy a burner for the PC. You'll be glad you did
